A slicer gives exact estimates, but our filament calculator provides quick estimates from model dimensions and infill settings. Standard PLA filament weighs about 1.24 g/cm3, and a 1kg spool typically contains about 330 meters of 1.75mm filament.
How long will my 3D print take?
Print time depends on layer height, print speed, model volume, infill density, and support structures. Finer layer heights produce smoother surfaces but take longer. How do I estimate resin usage for SLA printing?
Resin usage is primarily determined by the volume of the model plus any support structures. What layer height should I use for my 3D print?
