How to Calculate Plywood Needs
Standard sheets are 4x8 feet (32 sq ft). Divide project area by sheet area, round up, and add waste factor (10-25%).
Measure each piece needed (length x width), add all together for total area. Include sides, shelves, backs for cabinets.
Plywood comes in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" thickness. Baltic birch sheets are 5x5 feet. Verify dimensions for your product.
